The pictures below are of Edgar Allan Poe Kitty! Poe for short. @edgarallanpoekitty on Instagram. I adopted this cute, baby black kitten by listening to my instincts. I'm an author and I also started reading E. A. Poe when I was 10 yes old.  This blessing was meant to be.
He is purrfection!  I have now had 6 black cats in my life and I have had very good companions in every kitty! Poe has become my constant shadow, my cuddle buddy, my talking kitty who says, "Mom", "Mama", "No" and I feel he watches over me. He is my stable companion and helps me keep a solid routine which is important for my brain damage issues. 
I absolutely trust my instincts!  I have had friends ask me how I know that my instincts are correct.  I just know.  Many times it is seeing a series of numbers {111, 333. 11:11, 1234, etc.}  Could also be a name, a date and another similarity in my current life that ties the situation together. I am tapped into the energy that runs through our world and connects all humans, animals and plant life.  
The first time I looked into Poe's eyes with him cradled in my arms like a baby, I felt that surge of absolute pure love and warmth.  
He was meant to be with me and I have been so blessed.
