Thank so much for your understanding and staying with me in 2023! I had a medical crisis this summer that nearly paralyzed me from the waist down. I spent more than two months gaining back my legs, learning to walk properly and I consider myself very lucky! I now have a profound sympathy for our veterans and others in our nation who are permanently fighting this battle. 🙏Prayers be to the Wounded Warrior Project, Home health nurses and individual family members who care for the disabled. 
You're truly 😇 Angels on earth. 🌈 

The following is how I feel about our current government attitude toward the above mentioned peoples here in America. What I went through this summer, being in this catagory for only a few months, has dramatically opened my eyes.  Along with help from ancient Greece and Rome regarding their ancient government, I would like to share how I currently view the government leaders today. Our "leaders we voted in" have clearly thrown aside veterans and legal citizens who were born with disabilities or had a horrific accident that lead to paralysis. My hope is that you read with an open heart and mind.  
Also, I hope this inspires you to dig deep and voice your true feelings through concise, educated and meaningful posts across every social media platform!

The countries of the British Isles take care of their citizens by providing the health care, home health, mobility apparatuses and other equipment necessary to live fullfilled lives... AT NO COST TO ITS CITIZENS!!! It's about time the United States followed suit!!! A prose about corruption in government regarding life in ancient Rome as it applies to our current situation, sets the stage for, what I think, could be a dramatic turn of events.
"Satire and government as it is commonly understood in the West – is as art that mounts a darkly humorous socio-political critique of the governments. The Greek writer Aristophanes (5th to 4th Centuries BC) and the Roman writers Horace (1st Century BC) and Juvenal (1st and 2nd Centuries AD), excoriated the hypocrisy, lack of compassion, pomposity, and avarice of contemporary Roman society and corrosive government in poetry. These truths still ring today in perfect examples of our US government who, I feel, cares NOTHING of the common Citizens. The Citizens who break their backs only to line the pockets of the rich. It is to the Roman poet, Juvenal, that we owe such quotations as "Who will watch the watchers." and "Honesty is admired, but starves".

This brings us to our current situation in the US. There is no honesty in our government and that is why The United States of America is starving, grieving and making our 🗽 Liberty Statue weap tears of corruption and corrosion.  At this point, I stand with Great Britain; "God save the King" rings in my mind and opens my eyes. The more I learn about the Patronages of Britain and how the taxes paid to the monarchy are funneled back to its citizens for the greater good, makes me want to leave America! We average citizens pay exuberant taxes, prices on homes, gas, staple products, food, high medical insurance premiums, high cost of prescription medications and clothing only to have it line the pockets of "Fat Cat" CEO's! Food stamps and welfare are broken and corrupt. If you're on these programs, you should have to work like the rest of America. EARN YOUR MONEY! should be painted on picket signs across the country.  Walmart will be in need of cashiers in the immediate future and next few years because they're doing away with self-checkout. Instead of a welfare "check' in the pocket of non-working citizens and parents of America, the government will pay your wages for working instead of the companies taking on the burden of paying wages. Daycare, health coverage and food would be paid for directly to the companies and not just given as "free cash" to the people. It has been shown that food stamps and Welfare are not used properly to care for children. CHILDREN ARE A GIFT! Not a "money cash cow" or "property" to make money! This truly puts children in the same catagory of slaves. It is also clear to me that the fault does not solely lie with our government. Lazy, misguided and disillusioned people in this country have made welfare "a way of life." For those of you who are able to work, have some pride in yourself and your families. Set a better example for your children. We need to stop the "babies having babies" generations!  Recently, a survey showed that "arrests in elementary schools dropped in 2020 and 2021, but then started to increase again in 2022. In 2023, 3500 children were "directed to arresting officers" on school grounds.(US Department of Education). Well of course the numbers dropped and have now resumed! Children were home because of COVID and are now back in school. Guess what else happened during COVID? Welfare and food stamp claims skyrocketed! Clams were granted to parents working from home even if they made enough money.(Social Security Administration). The picture has obviously started to become clearer. The peoples of America, who are truly in desperate need, are being thrown aside to give free money to those who abuse the systems.😢😢😢

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜Last but certainly not least, on a joyous note, can you just imagine EVERY cash register open in Wal-mart, Target, JCPenny, grocery stores and other retailers during the holidsy rush this year??? How Joyous, Merry, Bright, full of Hope and Love this holiday season would be if the stress was exponentially lower and the greetings of "Happy Holidays" rang out again into the world. The above prose has the answer to this bright future!
