My apologies for being away for so long My Friends.  My health took a down turn and I had a few ER visits.  I'm doing better now but still must rest.

Conversations with friends has always been a big part of my life.  I think everyone benefits from having people they can count on to listen to any physical or mental anguish one is going through. Listening to someone else speak of their life and goings on can also take your mind off what is troubling you.  My friends and neighbors have been a blessing to me.  They have helped not only with talking to me, but with running errands and helping take care of my Mother as well.  

I have a best friend from my youth who I have known for 34 years.  He is a wonderful man with a great outlook and upstanding personal values.  He is accomplished and responsible.  His wife has health issues as severe as mine and yet he still finds time to talk to me and check on me to see if I need anything.  We may live 3 hours away from each other but that does not seem that far to me.  
I feel he is right down the street.  He and his wife are my Power of Attorney (after my mother), and can be with me any time I need them.  

For this post I just want to say a thank you to those who have stayed and continue to read my blog. Your patience and continued support are much appreciated. I will be posting again, hopefully as frequently as before!  My hope is that everyone is doing well and has conversations with their friends.
