We go about our lives,
…worries flow our days,
So many times,
…should have stopped,
Been thankful for our Jay

He is still here,
…in every heart,
Jay will never leave us,
…our minds glow with memory,
…our hearts warm with embers,
Jay will be,
…with all who remember.

To those who know him,
…love him and are his best,
My heart goes out to you,
…for you cannot undo eternal rest.

No matter what religious doctrine,
…or what a Book has to say,
Too soon he did leave us,
Unknown reasons took Jay away.

For those left behind,
Family, friends, buddies,
…and acquaintance too,
Live every day,
To the most extreme,
…give it all you’ve got,
Do this for Jay,
Forever,
…he will be keeping watch.
