This is the quote that came to me after coloring a dragon eye picture but it speaks well of my day! There are many times I do not want to face what is before me.  I don’t want to “see”.  This leads to negative energy and bad Karma.  My neighbor Emily sent me a text to ask if I could get a package off her front porch.  At first, I didn’t want to.  However, I could find NO reason why I couldn’t or shouldn’t.  I got myself out of bed, got dressed and walked across the street. I felt so great doing something nice for someone.  My arm was hurting and I was tired from the housework I had done the day before.  Now that I think about it, I realize that the simple act of walking across the street and getting that package changed the perspective of my whole day.  Instead of only “seeing what I WANTED to see”, I expanded my vision and saw what NEEDED to be seen.  I even said hello to another neighbor of mine, Mario.  It’s so nice to be coming out of my Crabby Cancer Zodiac shell and “seeing” the world the way that I did before my health deteriorated.  There are times when I only see what I WANT to see and maybe… that works well for me on days when I’m just not ready for the world.  However, those days need to become fewer.

My goal…to have more days where I see beyond what is in my current surroundings.  To remember there is still much life to be lived.  I love People!  I love being around people and it makes me feel so energized.  So many times, I feel I inspire others and help them smile.  That is the greatest gift I have to give.
